Columbia Pictures has released two new posters forTom Hanks‘ intense-looking new film, Captain Phillips. The movie is based on the true story of the Somali pirate hijacking of the MV Maersk Alabama in 2009. This was the first American cargo ship to be hijacked in two hundred years.
The movie is directed by Paul Greengrass and it looks like Hanks gives yet another incredible performance. (Oscar nomination?)
The film also stars Catherine Keener, Max Martini, Yul Vazquez, Michael Chernus, Chris Mulkey, Corey Johnson, David Warshofsky, John Magaro, and Angus MacInnes.
Captain Phillips comes out on October 11th, 2013.
