AMC have recently announced a new documentary series called James Cameron’s Story of Science Fiction, coming in 2018
As the name may suggest, it will focus on the history of science fiction and how the burning questions of humanity have been answered through the use of this genre. It will focus not only on film but on other mediums as well.
Executive produced by Cameron, the show will consist of six one-hour long episodes.
Cameron is an interesting choice for the series, having brought us Aliens, Terminator and Avatar.
Perhaps we’ll see George Lucas, Ridley Scott and JJ Abrams get the same treatment soon too.
We just have to wait and see how well Cameron will actually do.
