While Trainspotting director Danny Boyle said a few weeks ago that he would likely be directing the next James Bond outing, today it was made official.
The 25th Bond movie will see Daniel Craig return as James Bond 007 for the fifth time and it will begin filing before the end of this year, with the official James Bond Twitter putting out a post this morning confirming Boyle is attached, saying: Daniel Craig’s 5th outing as 007, will be directed by Academy Award-winning Danny Boyle from an original screenplay by John Hodge. Production is set to begin on 3 Dec 2018. MGM will partner with Universal Pictures to release the film worldwide
