Does Harley’s new tattoo in Birds of Prey poster hint at another major DC character?

Ok, so I posted the new Birds of Prey (and the Emancipation of One Harley Quinn) posters last night in light of the new trailer dropping today (here).

But I just noticed something…

On the poster above you can see a tattoo on Harley’s (Margot Robbie) arm which was previously a ‘J’ which was for Joker… but we already know that she and Joker are split-up in this movie, so she has crossed out tattoos on her leg referencing him and she has changed the ‘J’ on her arm. Here’s a closer look:

Now, two things… firstly, this now looks like a mermaid, or a Siren.

Why is this important? Well, because for along time now a Gotham City Sirens movie has been in the works for a while, with Suicide Squid director David Ayer attached at one stage (here) and the Sirens is made up of villainous ladies like Catwoman, Harley and… Poison Ivy.

Now, look at that tattoo… is it just me or does that look like Ivy from Batman: The Animated Series? Hell, even the pose is the same!

It may be nothing, but in the comics and overall mythology Ivy and Harley have a long history – sometimes even romantic (interesting we see the tattoo in the poster with the broken heart, no?) – after Harley leaves Joker, so is this an easter-egg? A hint at more or might we even see Ivy in the movie?

Honestly, it may be nothing… but i’d swear that was the last in green herself.
