Lee Pace, aka Ronan the Accuser, will move from the role of antagonist to that of a protagonist in the upcoming sci-fi adventure Prisoner of War. Pace is replacing Alex Russell in the film and after seeing him in GotG, I can’t help but be excited to see what he’ll bring to the role!
Pace will play an American soldier in Africa who teams up with a French foreign aid worker played by Berenice Marlohe (Skyfall) in the war-ravaged countryside. Humanity has already suffered from an alien invasion and as the two dig in to be part of Earth’s last stand against the alien threat, their partnership will be tested when the soldier discovers his true identity. The film will be directed by Joe Miale who hasn’t done anything this big, but will surely bring a lot to the table.
