Joss Whedon attached to MCU’s Fantastic Four movie

Well, this could be a turn up for the books as it seems that Avengers and Avengers: Age of Ultron witer/director Joss Whedon may be set to return to to the MCU.

According to a new report by John Campea, Whedon has been approached by Marvel/Disney about bringing the Fantastic Four into the MCU.

Now, Campea does say it may have been a casual meeting or brainstorming  but he also said that he may be being looked at for a directing return.

While Whedon had a rough time at Marvel/Disney during the making of Age of Ultron, it cannot be argued that he is largely responsible for the tone of the MCU after his work on the first Avengers and his subsequent helping with other movies including Iron Man 3.

However, in his personal life and professional life – including the Justice League debacle – Whedon has had a bumpy couple of years, however it seems that all is forgiven and forgotten and Whedon is back talking to Marvel chief Kevin Feige.

Personally, I think Whedon’s impact on modern pop culture is unmistakable – from Buffy the Vampire Slayer to Firefly, to Serenity and then to Justice League.

So I would be ok with Whedon returning to the MCU. Would you? Let me know…
