Well, this may be something to keep an eye on…
Actress Megan Fox’s assistant, Madison Bigos, posted an image of the star only her social media with “Poison Ivy? Expecting a call soon” written on it.
Now, this could, of course, be nothing but we need to step back and look at a few things.
Firstly, moving on from being fired from Transformers, Fox is enjoying something of a resurgence at the minute.
Secondly, Ivy is a hot topic at the moment, with actress Bridget Regan recently being cast to portray her in the Arrowverse (here).
Fox’s name was attached to playing Poison Ivy AKA Pamela Isley a while back when there was a Gotham City Sirens movie in the works (here) and, oh yeah, fourthly, the Gotham City Sirens movie is back in the works (here), so we will need an Ivy and Catwoman to join Margot Robbie’s Harley Quinn when that happens.
That is all there is to this story at the minute and, sure, it could be a ploy to drum up interest in Fox for the role if they’ve heard it’ll be casting soon and, we know, it would be a silly idea for a star’s agent to reveal something like this without someone giving her the go-ahead… but we love Fox here and we think she could pull it off.
So just keep watching this space, there could be more to this story yet.
