We don’t normally for for this type of news, but man, we’d love to see this happen!
It seems that last week actress Morena Baccarin was asked at a Brazilian convention if there there any superhero characters she’d like to play and her answer was, well, purrfect.
Baccarin, many moons ago when she was playing Inara in Firefly, was attached to Joss Whedon’s attempted Wonder Woman movie in the lead role however, as we all know now, Gal Gadot is knocking it out of the park as Wonder Woman, which means that dream is gone; however, it seems the actress has her mind set on another DC character… Selina Kyle AKA Catwoman!
Now, of course she is currently in the Deadpool movies as the love interest, Vanessa, but we learned last week (here) that another Deadpool movie is unlikely, but aside from that, she is also in the DC Stable as Leslie Tompkins (she also was the voice of Gideon in several episodes of The Flash albeit uncredited) so anything is possible.
On top of that, Bacarrin has roved herself to be a physical and versatile actress and, let’s not be shy here, she’s a very beautiful woman and more that matches the look of Selina Kyle in recent years in the comics (just look at the image we put together above).
We totally see her in the role (even if it Catwoman may already have cameoed in the movies (here)).
