The Warner Bros panel at San Diego is the gift that keeps on giving.
Let’s face it, none of us thought an Aquaman film starring Khal Drogo was going to be anything other than a complete bomb. It never occurred that Jason Momoa would be a stand-out in the DCEU. And yet I am currently eating my words. Because the official trailer looks pretty damn good.
So yeah, Momoa still seems a bit “bro” at times, but he’s really starting to pull down the role. If I’ve got one gripe, it’s that a man with water-related powers is in the desert. Still, ours not to reason why.
And there’s a hell of a lot less orange in this one than in Justice League…
