And just like that… it’s finished.
Director Todd Phillips has confirmed that filming has finished on Joker: Folie A Deux, the sequel to 2019’s incredible Joker movie.
To celebrate, he shared tow new images from the movie on his Instagram, one of Joaquin Phoenix’s Joker and another of Lady Gaga’s Harley Quinn (above).

The movie is set for release on October 4th of next year, a full five years – as unbelievable as that sounds – after the release of the first movie. My, how the world has moved on since then,
Very little is known of the plot of the movie at this stage but we know that set images have revealed [highlight to read] that there are at least two different Jokers in this movie and it will explore how this Joker will meet this universe’s version of Harley and what this will mean for an unsuspecting Gotham that, so far as we know, has no Batman to protect them.
Oh, and it’s a musical.
Yeah, I can’t wait for this!
