After Sam Neill and Laura Dern, returning for Jurassic World: Dominion, posted their first images from the set, we were waiting on new images and we’ve got a zinger tonight.
We had a feeling that, given the return of the original cast from the original Jurassic Park, this movie was set to go back to the franchise’s origins and it looks like we were right.
A new image (below) brings the action back to Isla Sorna, the site of The Lost World: Jurassic Park and Jurassic Park III – affectionately known as ‘the other island’.
The new image was shared by director Colin Trevorrow with the Jurassic Outpost website and shows a cold storage container marked for “Site B Isla Sorna”.
Isla Sorna was where John Hammond’s company, InGen, bred dinosaurs before bringing them to the island eveyone knew, Isla Nublar, where Jurassic Park – later Jurassic World – was.
Is Isla Sorna where the dinosaurs – and genetic experiments – are coming from in the new movie? Tenner says it is.
Thoughts? I want to hear them.
Jurassic World: Dominion is scheduled for release on June 11th, 2021
