Ubisoft’s Nighthawkj2 has shared a pretty cool piece of concept art from the upcoming Justice League movie.

The image, above, features Aquaman, Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Flash and Cyborg looking all dark and broody.

It’s worth a peek for the good look at Flash and Cyborg’s suits alone.

In related news, JK Simmons – pictured recently (below) with muscles Batman would be proud of – has been talking about why he’s bulked up and that, despite what everyone thinks, it’s nothing to do with playing Commissioner Gordon in Justice League: “This is all coincidental,” he says.

“After the second and final time that I got hugely fat in my life and when I lost that weight six or seven years ago, I pretty much decided that I was going to stay in decent shape for the rest of my life.”

He went on to talk about his time on HOB’s hit show, OZ: “I was not in good shape at all.

“I was overweight and soft and here I am playing the head of the Aryan Brotherhood in this maximum-security prison in the first-ever HBO original drama and I was watching the first season when it came out and I just thought, ‘Wow, I don’t believe this guy at all. I have to get my ass to the gym and be a believable hard-ass.'”

Word on the street is that his version of Gordon is as if the comic character came to life, so we’re very excited to see him on top of the GCPD talking to Batman and his pals…

Are you? Let us know…

Oh, before you go… new leaked images of The Joker, played by Jared Leto from Suicide Squad have appeared online – believed to be from the upcoming Batman V Superman: Ultimate Edition home release.

We think he looks REALLY badass… you?

Marc is a self-confessed nerd. Ever since seeing Star Wars for the first time around 1979 he’s been an unapologetic fan of the Wars and still believes, with Clone Wars and now Underworld, we are yet to see the best Star Wars. He’s a dad of two who now doesn’t have the time (or money) to collect the amount of toys, comics, movies and books he once did, much to the relief of his long-suffering wife. In the real world he’s a graphic designer. He started Following the Nerd because he was tired of searching a million sites every day for all the best news that he loves and decided to create one place where you can go to get the whole lot. Secretly he longs to be sitting in the cockpit of his YT-1300 Corellian Transport ship with his co-pilot Chewie, roaming the universe, waiting for his next big adventure, but feels just at home watching cartoons with his kids….
