Pinch of salt: Megan Fox rumoured for Poison Ivy role in Gotham City Sirens movie?

So we know now that there’s a Harley Quinn spinoff coming, directed by Suicide Squad’s David Ayer and starring Margot Robbie (here) and it’ll be based on the Gotham City Sirens comic which stars Harley, Catwoman and Poison Ivy.

And we’re already VERY excited for this.

In the last day or so rumours have appeared online that Turtles and Transformers star Megan Fox may be in the running for Pamela Isley AKA Poison Ivy.

Now we already know that Fox, love her or loathe her, is a big comics fan; she has expressed a desire to play Fathom should the movie ever happen, she starred in the Jonah Hex movie, the first two Transformers movies and the first two Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movies and she was Robot Chicken’s Lois Lane.

And none of this is by accident, by all accounts she IS a comic book fan. Fair play.

Now however, it seems that she has been ordering any books with Harley and Ivy together to be sent to her Warner Bros studio address… which is very specific and very curiously timed.

Does this mean she’s up for the role? Maybe. Does it mean she’ll GET the role? Certainly not, but we have to say, with the movie already looking like it’s set for a 2018 release and even Will Smith keen to return as Deadshot (below) we reckon we could start hearing news of who’s set for what soon.

So she may be privy to something we’re not. Or may she’s just a Harley and Ivy fan. Just sayin’.

What do you think? Would she be a good choice? Let us know in all the usual ways.
