It’s not as if we haven’t heard before that Henry Cavill is still Superman in the DC Cinematic Universe (here) but the rumour is back again and it’s gathering more and more mometum.
Yes, it seems that word on the nerdsphere is that Cavill is back for at least three DC projects – as of yet unnamed.
Now, while this hasn’t come from Warners yet, it seems like this could be the real deal as it seems to fit the current narrative that Superman may be set to appear in Shazam: Fury of the Gods and we know that Dwayne Johnson wants Black Adam and Superman to go toe-to-toe on the big screen.
You may also recall that waaaaay back when the rumour was that Cavill had left the role, it was because he was unhappy being offered a low salary and cameo roles… it seems that, if this is true, something in that plan has become more attractive. Personally, I’d imagine it’s two cameos and then a Man of Steel or Justice League sequel.
Adding to the speculation, Cavill (and Johnson’s) agent Dany Garcia shared the Bosslogic art work below with the tagline: Hope Never Left.
As and when we hear more so will you.
What say you all? More Cavill Superman/Clark Kent? Let me know your thoughts, gang.
