With the taking over of Fox by Disney, we’re hearing all sorts of bad things regarding the future of the X-Men franchise at Fox… namely, it has no future.
We’re hearing that The New Mutants movie is currently looking a further delays and may even wind up on a streaming service like Hulu or Netflix, while Gambit and others are looking like they aren’t happening now.
However, everyone’s favourite merchandise with a mouth, Deadpool, may be dodging more bullets as Ryan Reynold’s reveals we may not have seen the last of Deadpool.
Variety are reporting that while in China yesterday to promote Deadpool 2’s release, the actor revealed that “His team was already at work on “Deadpool 3”.
He added it was “looking to go in a completely different direction,” and “often, they reboot or change a character maybe like four movies too late.”
Hmmmmmmm… reboot?
Could Deadpool – as we all hope – be making his way into the House of Mouse with Reynolds in the spandex?
Whatever happens, we’re stoked to see another Deadpool movie.
