SDCC 2017: Gambit movie back on track according to star Tatum

With director Doug Liman having exited the film earlier in the year fan favourite X-Man movie Gambit hit the skids.

The producer, Hutch Parker, put to bed rumours that the film was dead in the water, but Comicbook.com cornered the would be Cajun card shark Channing Tatum at SDCC who confirmed things were a touch more positive.

According to the actor: “Yeah, of course. We’re working on it right now.”

Liman departed the project citing his lack of “personal connection” with the feature, though is reported to have wished it well.

Here’s hoping fans have played their kinetically charged cards right and the movie will be coming to x-fans soon.

I came here in a time machine from the 1980s. The time machine was called childhood. I'm getting back there at all costs! (I also live, love, write, lift & pet cats wherever I may find them.)
