SPOILERS: Confirmation of who Jenna Malone is in Batman V Superman? Looks like it

March 10th, 2016 by Marc Comments

One of the biggest mysteries in Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice was just who Jenna Malone’s (now deleted form the theatrical release) character was.

The two bigger theories had her as Batgirl AKA Barbara Gordon or Robin Carrie Kelly from The Dark Knight Returns.

Director Zack Snyder said recently the she’s definitely not Batgirl or Robin.

And, like Ob-Wan Kenobi, what he said is true… from a certain point of view.

Now a post on Reddit seems to have let the proverbial cat out of the bag with a screen grab (below) of a Warner Bros community survey issued to fans, asking what characters they’d like to see more of in Batman v Superman’s marketing.

On it, Malone is clearly listed as… Barbara Gordon.

We have to say, this isn’t a massive surprise and we love the idea of her as Jim Gordon’s daughter.

It’s only a pity we’ll have to wait until the R-Rated home release to see her in action. But not as Batgirl – we’re guessing this because Cavill (for example) is listed as Clark Kent/Superman, we we’d think it would be Barbara Gordon/Batgirl is she suited up.

Let us know your thoughts.
