It looks like a wee mistake may have revealed the title of the fourth Avengers movie…
The movie’s Cinematographer Trent Opaloch posted on his website (link below) that the movie would be called…
Avengers: End Game.
Gasp!
Ok, so if you go on Oplach’s page you’ll see that the movie is now listed as Avengers 4, as he obviously felt he had to change it… because it was right, because he was getting unwanted attention, who knows.
However, the title isn’t exactly a surprise and has been a suspected one for a while now, given that, in Avengers: Infinity War, in the dying minutes of the movie, Dr Strange says to Tony Stark: “We’re in the end game now…”.
Opaloch has worked with the Russo Brothers on Infinity War, Civil War and The Winter Soldier, so there’s a good chance he knows the movie’s title.
But it could be a placeholder, a smokescreen or a mistake.
If it’s real though, we like it.
In related news, Twitter used AJ Designs has revealed a heap of awesome leaked Avengers 4 artwork giving us loads of cool details about the characters in the movie.
The artwork reveals that yes, Ant-man and Hawkeye WILL return for this outing! It also reveals that Hulk will put in an appearance and has a cool new wardrobe. As does Captain America… he’s also clean shaven! Black Widow looks like she’ll be rocking hair that is red and grey and will be braided back.
And check out Warmachine’s awesome upgrade!
On top of this the images reveal that Captain Marvel will appear in the fourth Avengers and there’s plenty of looks at her suit – including a cool leather jacket look – and we also get a look at Samuel L Jackson as much younger version of Luke Cage.
Now we may see this in Avengers 4 but there’s a good chance this is a hint at how he’ll look in the Captain Marvel standalone which is set in the 90s (details here).
