Say what you want about last year’s Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie, but we loved it. And we’re happy to report that filming of the sequel will kick off next month!
The New York Daily News is reporting that filming locations include New York City and Buffalo. “There is no better way to project the character of this city than through television and film,” said Council Member Dan Garodnick. “And what’s more New York than pizza-loving ninjas and a talking rat?”

As for casting Megan Fox is expected to return as April O’Neil along with William Fichtner as Eric Sacks.
Previous reports on the sequel have indicated that iconic characters Bebop and Rocksteady and even the Krang as potential villains, but none of this has been confirmed as yet.
