While Tom Hardy was just yesterday praising the Suicide Squad script (here) and saying he was sad he had to drop out, today he’s saying he still wants to be part of a comicbook movie.
Em, tom, you know you played Bane in Dark Knight Rises, right?
Anyway, while he said earlier that he wants to stay at Warners, it seems he’s not totally against dipping his toes in Marvel’s studio too. Although, we wonder if he even knows Punisher is a Marvel property?
“I want The Punisher… I want The Punisher, or Splinter Cell, I want something…I don’t know what I want.” he remarks.
However, he fears his height would be an issue: “I’m not big enough to be The Punisher, I’m 5’9”. Frank Castle, I would love it. Is that him, isn’t it?
There’s probably nothing to this as Hardy is just keen to get into the comic/action scene; that said, we could see him as Castle.
