Well, the thid TRON movie, dubbed TRON: Ares, has officially finished filming and now we wait…
Picking up from 2010’s TRON: Legacy, itself a sequel to 1982’s TRON, this new movie will not feature many of the previous movie’s cast – most notably Olivia Wilde or Garrett Hedlund – but instead will have a new cast made up of Leto along with Greta Lee, Evan Peters, Hasan Minhaj, Jodie Turner-Smith, Arturo Castro, Cameron Monaghan and Gillian Anderson, so a good cast, despite the absences.
Oh, and Jeff Bridges is back as Kevin Flynn, so that is all sorts of awesome!
What the story of the new movie is, is unknown at this point but what we do know is that it will hit cinemas on October 10th, 2025.
