UK top ten box office countdown (WE 16th December 2013)

Well, Frozen’s reigning at the top of the chart has come to a end after just one week due to the return of The Hobbit with The Desolation of Smaug, this week’s highest new entry and new number one.

Apart from the Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug, there was only one other new entry in this week’s top ten and that went to comedy film Tyler Perry A Madea Christmas.

New Releases – Two films of note are out this week, firstly if you want a bit of a giggle then the film of choice is Anchorman: The Legend Continues. The other new film of choice is 3D film Walking With Dinosaurs.
