OK, we now the Guardians of the Galaxy trailer will hit next wee but dammit we want to see some Rocket Racoon and Groot action… and we have it! Sort of.
The guys at The Daily Superhero managed to get these pretty cool gifs showing the two in action and we gotta say, they loo, for lack of a better term, bad ass! The footage seems to be lifted from the leaked SDCC trailer, but it’s a cleaner look at the duo and well, we’re stoaked.
Guardians of the Galaxy is directed by James Gunn from his screenplay, with a story by Nicole Perlman and Gunn. The all-star cast includes Chris Pratt as Peter Quill aka Star-Lord, Zoe Saldana as Gamora, Dave Bautista as Drax the Destroyer, Vin Diesel as Groot, Bradley Cooper as Rocket Raccoon, Lee Pace as Ronan the Accuser, Michael Rooker as Yondu, Karen Gillan as Nebula, two-time Academy Award nominee Djimon Hounsou as Korath, Academy Award winner Benicio del Toro as The Collector, Academy Award nominee John C. Reilly as Rhomann Dey, and six-time Academy Award nominee Glenn Close as Nova Prime.
Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy is set for August 1st, 2014.
