WATCH: Ant-man and the Wasp: Quantumania trailer looks the absolute business!

We’re a little over a month away from the next installment in the MCU, Ant-man and the Wasp: Quantumania and the new trailer has dropped and it’s looking great.

The new trailer has Paul Rudd’s Scott Lang (Ant-man) and Evangeline Lily’s (The Wasp) Hope Pym going up against the MCU’s newest villain, Kang the Conqueror, played by Jonathan Majors and he looks like he;s going to man Thanos look like Frogman!

Also, the trailer gives us our first looks at Marvel villain MODOK (Mental/Mobile/Mechanised Organism Designed Only for Killing) in his armour and without. In the comics MODOK is George Tarleton, a former employee of Advanced Idea Mechanics (A.I.M. as seen in Iron Man 3), an arms-dealing organization specializing in futuristic weaponry, who undergoes substantial mutagenic medical experimentation originally designed to increase his intelligence. While successful, the experiments result in him developing a freakishly overdeveloped head and a stunted body, causing the character’s signature look and use of a hoverchair for mobility – there’s no clarification of that is his story in the MCU yet though:

It looks like Ant-man and the Wasp are making the move from third-tier heroes in the MCU to the main attraction because this new movie is about to explode the multiverse as set up in Loki, WandaVision, Spider-man: No Way Home and Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness and move Kang into place as the biggest villain the MCU has ever – and may ever – face.

Exciting.

Witness the beginning of a new dynasty. Watch the brand-new trailer for Marvel Studios’ #AntManAndTheWasp: Quantumania and experience it in 3D on February 17th.
