WATCH: Finally, the second trailer for X-men spin-off, The New Mutants arrives

Finally, the second trailer arrives for X-Men spin-off, The New Mutants… two years after the first trailer!

The movie was, of course, a victim to the whole Disney/Fox merger and, as such was delayed by almost two years, but despite many thinking it would never see light of day – at least on the big screen – it looks like it will arrive in just three more short months and will be the official end of Fox’s X-Men franchise.

But the good news is that, while may feared Disney would cut back on the original horror aspects of the movie, writer/director Josh Boone is saying that the movie is the one he had originally planned to release… why it took so long is anyone’s guess but, based on this trailer, it looks like the movie will certainly have a fair amount of creepy.

Although, it is apparently going be a PG-13 release, so likely not TOO scary.

Anyway, it looks fun and we’ll be there opening night.

The story of the New Mutants, a team of mutant heroes comprised of the first graduates from Charles Xavier’s school.

Starring: Anya Taylor-Joy, Maisie Williams, Charlie Heaton, Blu Hunt, Henry Zaga, Alice Braga

The New Mutants arrive on April 3rd, 2020

Marc is a self-confessed nerd. Ever since seeing Star Wars for the first time around 1979 he’s been an unapologetic fan of the Wars and still believes, with Clone Wars and now Underworld, we are yet to see the best Star Wars. He’s a dad of two who now doesn’t have the time (or money) to collect the amount of toys, comics, movies and books he once did, much to the relief of his long-suffering wife. In the real world he’s a graphic designer. He started Following the Nerd because he was tired of searching a million sites every day for all the best news that he loves and decided to create one place where you can go to get the whole lot. Secretly he longs to be sitting in the cockpit of his YT-1300 Corellian Transport ship with his co-pilot Chewie, roaming the universe, waiting for his next big adventure, but feels just at home watching cartoons with his kids….
