The Monkey is the new supernatural horror film written and directed by Osgood Perkins (Longlegs) and starring Theo James, Tatiana Maslany, Elijah Wood, Christian Convery, Colin O’Brien, Rohan Campbell and Sarah Levy, writes Phil from Live for Film.
The film is based on the 1980 short story by Stephen King, and produced by James Wan.
When twin brothers Bill and Hal find their father’s old monkey toy in the attic, a series of gruesome deaths start. The siblings decide to throw the toy away and move on with their lives, growing apart over the years.
The Monkey will hit cinemas on 21st February 2025.
