Wait, this ISN’T a sequel to The Pope’s Exorcist? How does Russell Crowe star in two exorcism movies in which he plays a priest within two years of each other that aren’t in any way related to each other?
Anyway, this isn’t a sequel to The Pope’s Exorcist but rather is about “A troubled actor who begins to unravel while shooting a supernatural horror film. His estranged daughter, Lee, wonders if he’s slipping back into his past addictions or if there’s something more sinister at play.”
The Exorcism stars Russell Crowe, Sam Worthington, Chloe Bailey, Adam Goldberg, and David Hyde Pierce. The film is directed by Joshua John Miller and written by M.A. Fortin & Joshua John Miller. The Exorcism is produced by Kevin Williamson, Ben Fast, Bill Block.
The Exorcism releases into cinemas on June 7th.
