Yes, Netflix’s The Babysitter – which starred Samara Weaving as a satan worshipping babysitter sacrificing kids and was actually a lot of silly fun – has a sequel coming in just a few days.
Although, it looks like Weaving – who is fast becoming by favourite action stars of the modern era – is absent from the line-up this time out. Probably off filming Bill & Ted Face the Music, in fairness.
The said, original stars Judah Lewis, Emily Alyn Lind, Robbie Amell, Bella Thorne, Hana Mae Lee and Andrew Bachelor return, despite most of them meeting grizzly ends in the first movie. They are joined by newcomers Jenna Ortega, Jennifer Foster, Maximilian Acevedo and Juliocesar Chavez.
Two years after defeating a satanic cult led by his babysitter Bee, Cole’s trying to forget his past and focus on surviving high school. But when old enemies unexpectedly return, Cole will once again have to outsmart the forces of evil.
The Babysitter: Killer Queen arrives on September 10th.
