And now we wait…

Stars Samara Weaving and Kathryn Newton have taken to social media to announce that Ready or Not: Here I Come is finished filming and will be in cinemas on April 10th, 2026… less than a year!

The sequel to Ready or Not has Radio Silence AKA Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett back to direct a script from Guy Busick and R. Christopher Murphy.

Confirmed: Ready Or Not and Abigail take place in the same world

In the first 2019 movie, Weaving’s Grace married into a very wealthy family who made their fortune through board games and, on the night of the wedding, she ended up playing what she thought was a family tradition and a harmless game of hide and seek… but very quickly she was fighting for her life against a bunch of people she thought she could trust and perhaps the devil himself.

The cast of the sequel includes Weaving and Newton along with Sarah Michelle Gellar, Shawn Hatosy, Néstor Carbonell, Kevin Durand, Olivia Cheng, David Cronenberg and Elijah Wood.

Marc is a self-confessed nerd. Ever since seeing Star Wars for the first time around 1979 he’s been an unapologetic fan of the Wars and still believes, with Clone Wars and now Underworld, we are yet to see the best Star Wars. He’s a dad of two who now doesn’t have the time (or money) to collect the amount of toys, comics, movies and books he once did, much to the relief of his long-suffering wife. In the real world he’s a graphic designer. He started Following the Nerd because he was tired of searching a million sites every day for all the best news that he loves and decided to create one place where you can go to get the whole lot. Secretly he longs to be sitting in the cockpit of his YT-1300 Corellian Transport ship with his co-pilot Chewie, roaming the universe, waiting for his next big adventure, but feels just at home watching cartoons with his kids….
