We’ve admitted it already, as much as we are in the DC Camp when it comes to their movies, even we have to admit Justice League was pretty dire.
And we’re holding out for the Snyder cut of the movie. For those not in the know, director Zack Snyder left the Justice League movie a considerable amount of time before it was filmed (the announcement was one year ago tonight) and it was revealed that he had left due to the tragic death of his daughter a few weeks earlier, however many have since speculated that Warners got rid of Snyder as they no longer loved his vision for the universe.
Then Avengers and Serenity director Joss Whedon was brought in to finish the movie and make it lighter that Snyder’s vision for the movie…
But, sadly, despite some wonderful moments, the movie turned out to be a massive disappointment.
However, not long after the theatrical release of JL, rumours started circulating that Zack Snyder’s cut of the movie was fairly close to being finished and many involved, including Aquaman actor Jason Momoa, have said they saw his cut of the movie… anyone who watched this trailer will notice that almost all of it is either missing or altered in the cinematic release:
But while many have believed that a director’s cut doesn’t exist, Snyder himself has thrown fuel on the fire tonight but liking a post on Vero [pointed out by good ol’ Reddit] about a supposed screening of a director’s cut of the movie:
We know that Batman V Superman benefited massively from having Snyder’s cut re-instated and we also know of many, many scenes cut from the Snyder version of Justice League so we’re 100% behind this happening.
What say you? Is Snyder playing Devil’s Advocate? Let us know your thoughts…
