We really liked Agent Carter here at FTN – yes, it lagged for a few episodes in the middle but the final few eps were great and left us wanting more, so a second season (here) could potentially be great.
Season 2 seems to be heading in a different direction to the first movie with Carter being relocated to New York and the time having shifted to post-World War II:
Dedicated to the fight against new atomic age threats in the wake of World War II, Peggy must now journey from New York City to Los Angeles for her most dangerous assignment yet. But even as she discovers new friends, a new home – and perhaps even a new love – she’s about to find out that the bright lights of the post-war Hollywood mask a more sinister threat to everyone she is sworn to protect.
As for who will be returning? Well, there’s no word other than Haley Atwell as Carter; will we see Jarvis or Howard back too? Maybe living it up in NY? Will The Carter/Sousa romance actually blossom in some way?
Who knows, but whatever happens, we hope to see Peggy back as the Agent we loved in the Marvel One-Shot and Captain America… the world has moved on, hopefully the Strategic Scientific Reserve will have too.
