So we know that Arrow will be Green Arrow from here on in in the Arrow TV series and we saw the new Arrow HQ (here) at the weekend and now it’s confirmed that Starling City will become Star City as it’s known in the comics.

This gradual move towards the more comic-accurate story makes sense given the last series and the inclusion of Flash as the meta-humans means a more incredible world is more acceptable – not to even mention the inclusion of Constantine too (yay!). So we really reckon all bets are off this season.

Anyway, the below image was shared by Paul Blackthorne (Quentin Lance) with co-star David Ramsey (Diggle) and if you look you’ll see the new details on the police badge: Star City Metro Police

This season has the potential to be the best yet… and that’s saying something.

Arrow aims for the target on October 7th.

In related news, The Flash himself, Grant Gustin, has won the Teen Choice Awards:  Choice TV: Breakout Star category. He beat co-star Candice Patton (Iris West), Gina Rodriguez from Jane The Virgin, Yara Shahidi from Blackish, Jussie Smolett and Yazz from Empire to claim the prize.

While it’s not something we really follow, we do think he deserves the recognition because, frankly, The Flash is one of our favourite ever TV shows.

Listen to Gustin’s acceptance speech in the video below.

Marc is a self-confessed nerd. Ever since seeing Star Wars for the first time around 1979 he’s been an unapologetic fan of the Wars and still believes, with Clone Wars and now Underworld, we are yet to see the best Star Wars. He’s a dad of two who now doesn’t have the time (or money) to collect the amount of toys, comics, movies and books he once did, much to the relief of his long-suffering wife. In the real world he’s a graphic designer. He started Following the Nerd because he was tired of searching a million sites every day for all the best news that he loves and decided to create one place where you can go to get the whole lot. Secretly he longs to be sitting in the cockpit of his YT-1300 Corellian Transport ship with his co-pilot Chewie, roaming the universe, waiting for his next big adventure, but feels just at home watching cartoons with his kids….
