Elizabeth Olsen teases big surprise at the end of WandaVision… and potential Spider-man 3 appearance?

Ooooooh…

Big things may be coming to WandaVision before the series comes to an end but could it be as explosive as that Luke Skywalker moment in The Mandalorian?

Now, we know the series will likely have an appearance by 20th Century Fox’s version of Quicksilver as star Evan Peters has been cast in the show and we all wait with bated breath to see what role he will play.

But it seems it’s not this appearance that has star Elizabeth Olsen all excited.

In a new interview about the show, Olsen was asked if there was any casting news we didn’t know about yet and she replied “yes” and said she was “really excited” for the fans to see what’s in store.

Adding to this, WandaVision creator Jac Schaeffer said “there are so many surprises left in store” for the remaining episodes and that she encouraged all fans “to settle in because there’s more coming”.

So, let the speculation begin… who do you think the surprise casting will be? I have a feeling it may be Michael Fasbender as Magneto because when all the reality has been warped at the end of WandaVision, Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness and Spider-man 3, Magneto will once more be the father of Wanda and we may have Pietro back in the form of the X-Men version with Evan Peters moving into the MCU.

But that may just be fanciful.

Speaking of Doctor Strange and Spider-man 3, Olsen has in the past hinted that she would like to appear in a Spider-man movie, saying “I kind of want to play with Spider-Man. He’s cute,” at ACE Comic Con in June 2018.

Then in 2020 Tom Holland expressed his being impressed with WandaVision and how he’d be up for appearing

In the lead-up to WandaVision, which would reunite Olsen’s Scarlet Witch and Paul Bettany’s Vision in their own classic sitcom, Holland picked the post-Endgame spin-off as the Marvel Studios series he’d join as Spider-Man: “Paul and Elizabeth are like two of the nicest people I know and I would love to work with them some more and get to know them a little bit better.

“So if I could put Spider-Man in the WandaVision show, that’d be great, Kevin Feige. So if you want to do that, you know my number.”

Then just last week, Capital FM asked Olsen if she was set to appear in Spider-man 3 along with Spidey and Benedict Cumberbatch’s Doctor Strange, to which she replied: “I assume you might [see Wanda in Spider-Man 3] if everyone’s in it, but I haven’t showed up to that party yet.”

Given that info, maybe we’ll see Spider-man appear at the end of WandaVision, but I can’t help feeling it’ll be a new face in the MCU we get… what say you all?

Let me know your thoughts, gang.

Spider-Man 3 swings into theaters on December 17th while Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is due on March 25th, 2022.
