Oooooh… we just got four cool new Doctor Who posters for the 60th Anniversary Special event set to air this November.

The new posters, which you can check out below, feature David Tenant’s [returning] Fourteenth Doctor and Ncuti Gatwa’s new Fifteenth Doctor, who will be introduced in November’s three-episode event before taking over the role permanently beginning on Christmas Day, when the series returns to the coveted festive slot (yay!); the actor has also confirmed that he will be in the role for at least two series.

The other posters feature Catherine Tate who reprises the role of Donna Noble and Gatwa’s new companion Millie Gibson who will play new Ruby Sunday.

WATCH: Trailer and titles materialises for Doctor Who 60th anniversay event

Tate’s Donna had one of the most tragic goodbyes of all of Doctor Who in 2008’s episode Journey’s End, being forced to forget her time in the TARDIS or else it may result in her death… honestly, if you’ve not seen Donna’s time in the shown get it watched, she’s my favourite companion in new Who and it’s great to have her back.

While it’s entirely possible that these are just cool new posters, I would be very surprised if they don’t set the scene for the release of a new trailer very, very soon.

But what do I know?

Check out the posters below and let me know your thoughts, gang.

Thoughts? I know you have them! Voice-off in the usual ways on FTN’s FacebookTwitter and Instagram
