We’ve heard rumblings for a while now that another Game of Thrones spinoff was in the works and now we official word of what it is.
After the success of the first spinoff, House of the Dragon, HBO has moved forward and ordered a season of A Knight Of The Seven Kingdoms: The Hedge Knight.
HBO orders second season of Game of Thrones prequel House of the Dragon after just one episode
The series is based on creator George RR Martin’s Dunk and Egg novellas and takes place over one hundred years before the main Game of Thrones series and promises to be something very different than Game of Thrones or House of the Dragon as it will focus on Ser Duncan the Tall and his squire Egg, two unlikely heroes who travel around Westeros getting in adventures in a world full of magic, dragons and unexpected destinies. It really sounds like it could be a more fun look at the world of Westeros.
The series will be written by Martin himself, which is likely to have fans excited.
