Warner Bros. Animation is set to bring a brand new animated Batman holiday special to Cartoon Network, with Merry Little Batman.
The special will be part of Sunday nights’ ACME Night, which kicks off this month and is aimed at getting families to enjoy the night together.
When a six-year-old Damian Wayne finds himself alone in Wayne Manor, he must transform into “Little Batman” in order to defend his home and Gotham City from the crooks and super-villains intent on destroying Christmas.
The adventure will be directed by Mike Roth.
The programming block is also set to include the animated specials Did I Do That to the Holidays? A Steve Urkel Story and as-yet-untitled Looney Tunes cartoon, along with the previously announced Gremlins: Secrets of the Mogwai animated series. Also featured are a number of Warner Bros. feature films, including Shazam!, Man of Steel, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Sherlock Gnomes, Pokemon: Detective Pikachu and Scoob!.
The ACME Night programming block is set to launch on September 19th on Cartoon Network.
