After the wonderful full trailer for Picard dropped at the weekend (here) at SDCC I was completely on board.
The addition of Data, Seven Of Nine and The Borg had got my attention and the glossy but well made trailer itself sold me… and I’m not the biggest Trekkie (I just never got that obsessed with it) but even I was excited.
However, now The Next Generation star Marina Sirtis who played Deanna Troi has confirmed that she too is back as is Riker, played by Jonathan Frakes (who is also directing a few episodes) and, well, it seems this is a full-on reunion tour.
The addition of more stars will undoubtedly have the fans excited and, if they can pull off a well-scripted series, then CBS All Access could be looking at a bonafide hit.
