Gotham is on the lookout for a new Poison Ivy.

Ivy Pepper has been played intermittently by actress Clare Foley for the show’s first two seasons, but it seems that with a larger role expected in season 3 the producers are looking for someone else.

According to Comic Reel and TVLine, Ivy will have a greater role in the next season. The show’s producers are intending to swap out Foley for another actress and casting is currently underway for an actress in her late teens.

Clare Foley has been good as Ivy on the occasions she’s shown up, and while they might want someone older for the role, especially now we’ve seen where some of Ivy’s powers are likely to come from, it’s a shame that they’re dropping a young actress who’s been pretty damn good so far.

The death ray is currently in the works and one day you shall all bow to him, his giant space station and fleet of funky orange space shuttles...
