Happy (belated) Christmas!
This festive season may have been the first in seventeen years (?!!??!) without a Doctor Who special but incoming/returning showrunner Russell T Davies wanted to ensure our favourite Gallifreyan was still part of the Christmas Celebrations.
And so, shortly after teatime, when we were all recovering from our over-indulgence of the day, the trailer dropped for next year’s 60th Anniversary four-part adventure and it looks like it’s going to be a lot of fun!
Full of returning faces, Neil Patrick Harris’ villain (The Celestrial Toymaker, surely?), Ncuti Gatwa’s new incarnation of The Doctor and a couple of very fun characters that fans of the 80s Doctor Who comic strips will recognise, Davies hinted a few days ago that we would be ‘staggered’ by next year’s goodies and it really looks like he wasn’t exaggerating.
So check it out below and start the countdown to next November because the anticipation is already killing us!
