One of TV’s best series is coming to an end but after The League of Gentlemen, Psychoville and Inside No 9, I know it’s as much a reason to be excited for what comes next as it is to be sad that Inside No 9 s ending.
Yes, Steve Pemberton and Reece Shearsmith’s Inside Number 9 is back for its ninth and final series of off-the-wall, dark tales.
The series will consist of six episodes with the final one being episode 55.
The first episode will be called Boo to a Goose and the synopsis reads:
Late-night passengers get stuck in a tunnel when their train breaks down. Patiently, they wait for the replacement service until a nurse gets her purse stolen and tempers start to fray.
The series returns in a little under two weeks and I know I’ll be watching… will you?
An anthology of darkly comic twisted tales by Steve Pemberton and Reece Shearsmith, each one taking place behind a door marked ‘number 9’.
