Almost a year to the day of its original, black and white release, tomorrow we have the release of Marvel’s Halloween special, Werewolf by Night In Colour.
The original last year was one of the MCU’s most fun releases in a few years, so I’m excited for this too and the colour will mean it’s easier to accept as part of the wider MCU.
The special stars Gael García Bernal as Jack Russell, yes, really, and his werewolf alter-ego – fun fact, both were originally supposed to appear at the end of Blade Trinity but were ultimately cut out – and it’s a full-on Hammer Horror thriller and it looks like so much fun.
Fans of Marvel’s supernatural side will also spot Man-Thing, Elsa Bloodstone, Zombie and more in there, so this is really opening bigger worlds for the MCU that will include characters such as Ghost Rider, Blade and many more exciting characters.
Oh, and it’s directed by composer Michael Giacchino, so there is loads to be excited for in here.
Thoughts? I know you have them! Voice-off in the usual ways on FTN’s Facebook, Twitter and Instagram
