It’s been such an amazing journey, starting back in 1984 when The Karate Kid first hit cinemas until the present day and beyond into 2025 when the story ends with the final season of Cobra Kai – well, until the new Karate Kid movie hits in 2025.
Anyway, the sixth and final series of the hit show—it’s ridiculously good, guys. If you grew up in the 80s and haven’t watched it, get your binging hats on and make it happen, trust me—has been split into three parts, totaling 15 episodes, and it all kicks off this summer, July 18th, to be precise.
Picking up with Cobra Kai eliminated from the Valley, our senseis and students must decide if and how they will compete in the Sekai Taikai — the world championships of karate and now we have a new clip of what exactly the two teams are up against when they face the Iron Dragons.
At the Sekai Taikai, Miyagi-Do faces new challenges and old enemies as they fight to become world champions. It’s not just Cobra Kai vs. Miyagi-Do. Meet the Iron Dragons.
The show’s final season will be split into three parts of five episodes premiering on July 18th, then November 28th, and the final three in 2025.
