The next chapter in The Batman saga from Matt Reeves. Academy Award Nominee Colin Farrell is The Penguin in the new Max Original Series coming this autumn to Max.
Taking place one week following the events of The Batman (2022), the series explores the rise to power of Oswald “Oz” Cobblepot / Penguin in Gotham City’s criminal underworld
Colin Farrell stars as the Penguin, reprising his role from The Batman, alongside Cristin Milioti, Clancy Brown, Michael Zegen, Michael Kelly, Rhenzy Feliz, Shohreh Aghdashloo, Deirdre O’Connell, James Madio, Scott Cohen, Theo Rossi, Carmen Ejogo, François Chau, David H. Holmes, Craig Walker, and Jared Abrahamson.
The series is executive produced by Matt Reeves, Dylan Clark, Colin Farrell, Lauren LeFranc, who writes and serves as showrunner, Craig Zobel, who directs the first three episodes, and Bill Carraro. Based on characters created for DC by Bob Kane with Bill Finger, THE PENGUIN is produced by Reeves’ 6th & Idaho Productions and Dylan Clark Productions in association with Warner Bros. Television, where Reeves and 6th & Idaho are under an overall deal. Daniel Pipski also serves as executive producer.
The series arrives on September 19th
