Great news for Rick and Morty fans as we have at least two more seasons coming!
Yes, the hit series has been renewed for two more seasons at Adult Swim which will bring the sci-fi show to season 12 with the possibility of more to come after that too but even at that, that means it’s running until 2029 which is impressive on its own.
Executive producers Dan Harmon and Scott Marder made the announcement at NYCC, saying: “From Season One, Rick and Morty set a new standard in adult animation and has shown no signs of stopping.
“Dan, Scott and the rest of the immensely talented team behind ‘Rick and Morty’ are constantly outdoing themselves, and I’ll be joining the millions of fans around the world in looking forward to more adventures in the years to come.”
“Nobody wants a universe without Rick and Morty,” said Harmon, “Fortunately, the list of places to go remains infinite.”
So, there you go, fans, one boy and his grandpa are going to be around for a while yet… let’s hope they just stay better than that anime series. Ugh.
