Well, we’re halfway through She-Hulk season one and while it’s had hits and misses – big misses – it’s had some wonderful cameos, despite She-Hulk/Jennifer Walters (Tatiana Maslany) protesting it’s her show.
And now we have an even better look at the show’s (likely) biggest cameo/appearance, the return of Charlie Cox, last seen briefly in Spider-man: No Way Home, as Matt Murdock/Daredevil and it looks like he’s going to bring the magic once again.
Cox played the character as the dark avenger in the Netflix shows but we’ve been told She-Hulk producer Jessica Gao said of Daredevil that they were amazed they were allowed to add him into the series and that “people have already seen a Daredevil who is very dramatic, little bit on the heavy side, very dark, brooding,” but that they bring the character “into our world and they get to play in the tone of She-Hulk. And they got to explore and we get to see a lighter side of that character.”
Honestly, that scares me a little as I like the darker Daredevil, after all, the guy has had a rough ride and is an angry character hell-bent on justice whatever the cause, but I’d also be a liar if I said I’m not excited to see him appear in the MCU and in the classic yellow and red suit? That’s just a bonus.
Thoughts? I want to hear them, guys…
