Looks like Disney+ is set to follow up the excellent The Mandalorian with more great Star Wars content as the trailer (finally) drops for The Clones Wars Season 7… or The Final Season as it’s better known.
The series was actually cut short after five seasons when it was still produced by Lucasfilm pre-Disney, but then has a ‘lost missions’ season six released later down the line. But the story of Ashoka Tano was left hanging – although we did eventually see her again in Rebels, but her closing chapter during The Clone Wars is still a mystery.
But, come February 21st, this will no longer be the case as the final season is set to debut on the streaming service.
Thankfully, the cast and crew are mostly returning and we here at FTN are very optimistic that this will be quality TV, given that the original series – after some early teething problem – was a big part of Star Wars lore and a real game-changer for the galaxy far, far away.
So, see you next month for the return of Ashoka and the gang… I’m excited. Are you?
