Adventure Time is back!
It’s been too long, but finally, one of the greatest animated shows of the last decade is coming back.
Continuing on from the original Adventure Time series and the subsequent Distant Lands animated limited series, we now have Fionna and Cake, the creations of [in universe] Simon Petriov, the Ice King, who in the original series, wrote fan fiction with the alternate, female versions of Finn and Jake, and they have their own ten-part series.

The show will, I’m being told, feature the Ice King as well as Finn and Jake but as someone whose kids grew up watching the original series, this will be a must watch in our house… even though we’re all a lot older now.
Adventure Time: Fionna and Cake is coming to Max on August 31.
