Ok, firstly, it’s now definite that we’re getting a second season of Ash Vs Evil Dead…which, frankly, is beyond groovy!
Secondly, Ash, it turns out, has a father who lives in the world along with him and he’ll feature in season 2. And, as if that’s not enough, he’ll be played by The Fall Guy himself, Lee Majors!
Honestly, how awesome is that!?
Majors (below) will play Brock Williams, Ash’s father.
Oh and Ted Raimi will play Chet Kaminski, Ash’s childhood best friend.
It is also confirmed that the second season will be ten half-hour episodes.
The second season of the Starz Original series “Ash vs Evil Dead” will be 10 half-hour episodes, we’ve confirmed.
No release date yet but needless to say, if we were excited before, we’re giddy as all hell now!
The cast is led by Bruce Campbell (Evil Dead, “Burn Notice”) in the role of Ash Williams; Lucy Lawless (“Salem,” “Spartacus”) as Ruby, who now possesses the powerful Necronomicon; Ray Santiago (“Touch,” Meet the Fockers) as Pablo Simon Bolivar, Ash’s loyal sidekick dealing with the trauma he suffered in the cabin; and Dana DeLorenzo (Harold and Kumar Christmas) as Kelly Maxwell, who, grief-stricken after the death of her parents, plots revenge against The Evil Dead.
