With E3 happening at the minute we are all sitting tight to see what big news we’ll be getting on our favourite franchises and systems and tonight was a big one for Star Wars fans.
During EA Play’s presentation, Respawn CEO Vince Zampella, revealed a new Star Wars game: Jedi Fallen Order.
While very little was revealed about the game, Zampella said the game will be set during “dark times,” so it’s probably a safe bet the game will take place after Order 66, during the time when the Jedi were being hunted by Emperor Palpatine between Episodes III and IV… we’re guessing it could see The Emperor’s hand, Mara Jade, involved but who knows?
No footage of the game was revealed, nor was there any art work, however, given that it is Respawn, it’s a safe bet this will be a first-person fighter with laser guns and lightsabers.
At this stage we don’t even know what systems they will be on, though the safe money is likely on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.
In other news, Electronic Arts announced new content coming to Star Wars Battlefront II which will focus on the legendary Star Wars: Clone Wars. The new content will see General Grievous, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Count Dooku, and Anakin Skywalker added as playable characters. No release date on this either but apparently it’s not far off.
