Ok, remember the DC Night waaaaay back in January when we got first looks at Suicide Squad, Wonder Woman and Justice League? Well, during that event, host Kevin Smith said that he and president and Chief Creative Officer at DC Comics, Geoff Johns talked about the DC Multiverse – i.e. the movies and TV shows and how they differ – and if they could ever meet.
And Smith hinted strongly that Johns might have been a little cagey on the prospect of Grant Gustin’s Flash meeting Ezra Miller’s Flash in the speed force at some point (read and watch it here).
Well now Miller himself has been saying some pretty cryptic things that have fans wondering if he too is saying the multiverse will see the movies and TV shows meeting… heck with Flash doing the Flashpoint story this year, we’d take a glimpse of Miller in the Speedforce and be happy!
“It’s a little intense for me because I get goosebumps just thinking about it,” Miller said about playing Flash in the upcoming Justice League.
However, when he was asked about Grant Gustin’s TV Flash, he got rather cryptic: “He’s a boss! I can’t wait to see him, eye to eye, adrift in the Speed Force — our eyes will lock and, in that moment, we will both know the truth. What truth? I dare not say.”
Wait, what? Is Miller just being deliberately geeky here or is he getting at something? He’s firing the imagination of the fans… two Flashes meeting in the Speed Force?! And just what is the “truth”? We need to know, dammit!
We reckon it could be the nerdiest moment of whatever year it happens in… and we can’t help feeling we are going to see it at some point.
